Honda's ambitions to boost car sales in Indonesia belong to them even stronger. In 2015 even the upcoming Honda aims to sell 210 000 cars. Rose dramatically from their sales in 2011 that only 73 987 cars.
Honda's strong intention of getting burned after day they start building their second plant that will make Honda's automobile production capacity in Indonesia to 180 000 cars.
"The expansion of our plant is running with an increase in consumer demand for Honda products, along with an increase in the automotive industry in Indonesia," said President Director of PT Honda Motor Prespect Tomoki Uchida on the sidelines of the ground breaking ceremony a second plant at PT Honda Prospect Motor Kawarang, West Java.
"Aided by the operation of a new plant in 2014, we have a plan to increase our sales in Indonesia to 210,000 units per year in 2015," he added.
The new Honda plant in the Karachi area, West Java, which planned to build a small car and an MPV Honda Brio priced.
For the new plant is expected to cost Rp 3.1 trillion in investments hinga, Honda plans to increase the number of their workers between 2000-5000 people at the factory and are expected to absorb 50,000 people in the industrial parts supplier and 6,000 people in 62 new network of Honda in Indonesia .
As for the affairs of sales network, now Honda has strengthened as much as 88 dealers spread across various cities throughout Indonesia. Along with the addition of production capacity, Honda plans to open as many as 62 new dealers to reach a total of 150 dealerships by the end of 2014 which will help achieve the target.
