PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) has been named as a reliable version of Indonesia Most Trusted Companies 2012 by the Indonesian Institute for Corporate Governance (IICG). Working closely with SWA Magazine, IICG crowned as Indonesia AHM 2012 Most Trusted Companies in the category of Non Listed Company Private Owned Enterprises (BUMS) Non Finance.
The award was made at the Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta (19/12). AHM asked as a reliable company based on the results of a survey of Corporate Governance Perception Index (CGPI). CGPI assessment covers 12 aspects, namely commitment, transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence, fairness, competence, mission, leadership, collaboration.

Along with their work in the motorcycle industry in Indonesia, AHM has contributed greatly to the increase in the investment and the contribution of tax payments. Currently, AHM has three assembly plants with a production capacity of 4.5 million units per year. At this location 3 AHM absorb more than 18,000 employees.
On the downstream side of the motorcycle industry, until the fourth quarter of 2012, AHM has about 1785 dealers, authorized workshops network 3666 Astra Honda Authorized Service Station (AHASS), 7381 parts store, including the Honda Exclusive Part Shop (HEPS). AHM also has about 10,000 service station built in Indonesia.
