Projector Lamp Excellence FI Honda Scoopy
Of the many new features adopted by New Honda Scoopy FI, one of the main attention is to use projector headlight lamp. This is the first breakthrough for automatic segment in Indonesia.
With this type of lamp, is believed to make the lights became brighter. Not just bright headlights on Scoopy FI also answer projector lamp shortage in general.
"All existing projector lamp lenses. However disadvantages of projector lamps in general, can not cover the lamp to near and far at the same time," said Sarwono Edhi, Technical Service Training Manager of PT. Astra Honda Motor (AHM)
In this FI Honda Scoopy near and far light can be obtained from a single bulb only, or the term Bi-Halogen projector type. Being mostly projector, using two bulbs, one for high beam and the other as the lights near.
"In Scoopy FI, the bulb has two filaments, for light melee using only one filament and the lens to shoot straight. Medium to high beam filament is on and both reflected back into the reflector to accommodate the beam," explained Sarwono Edhi.
Scoopy FI bulb used this type HS-1 with a capacity of 35 watts, this bulb is usually found on sport type motorcycle.
