Honda Extends Warranty Period
Now the owners of Honda cars can be more calm because their car warranty period can be extended up to five years or 140 thousand kilometers.
Generally, manufacturers of motor vehicles only give the warranty to three years. However, PT Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) to launch a program to break standard Honda-Extra Care Extended Warranty.
This program provides an opportunity for the extension of the warranty Honda car owners up to five years or 140 thousand kilometers.
"This program was launched to provide complete protection and prevents the risk of unanticipated expenses after the normal warranty period to three years or 100 thousand kilometers over. Thus it can reduce the burden on the customer and provide a sense of security when driving," said President Director PT HPM Tomoki Uchida at an iftar with the media in Jakarta.
On occasion, Tomoki explains, consumers can choose the package an additional one-year extended warranty (20 thousand km) or two years (40 thousand miles). So Honda customers no longer need to pay in the event of breakage in normal use, such as machinery, electrical, cooling the engine, suspension, transmission, steering, brakes, HVAC and protective systems.
This service is valid for new customers as well as all models of Honda cars Honda has had the standard warranty period. With this program, consumers can make claims without limitation costs and the amount of the claim, for in accordance with the agreements covered by the warranty.
In fact, at times when the car is sold, the service is still valid despite changing hands and more at no extra cost. So it can increase the sale value of the car itself.
"Not all Honda cars can join the program. Surely that is still within the warranty period of 3 years after the official or purchase," Director of Marketing and Sales Service HPM Jonfis Fandy.
In addition to giving an extension of the warranty period, Honda Extra Care program also provides more benefits, the Honda Roadside Assistance facility (specifically Java and Bali). This includes assistance towing and repair emergency light when experiencing problems on the way. Consumers will also get discounts up to 50% for the purchase of Honda Automobile Oil.
Honda Extra Care Program can be purchased at all authorized Honda dealers in Indonesia, with prices starting from Rp 1.5 million to $ 7.5 million depending on the car model. This program is offered to consumers, whether buying a new Honda car or who already have a Honda, but still within the standard warranty period.
