Honda Car Sales 2013
In January 2013, PT. Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) as the sole agents (APM) Honda managed to maximize the sales of some models. In total, Honda recorded sales of 5746 units and a market share of 5.9 percent in the first month of the beginning of 2013.
One product that instantly skyrocketed in early 2013 is the New Jazz. Honda Jazz directly recorded sales of 2337 units and a major contributor to Honda's sales in the month of January.
Other Honda products, the All New Honda CR-V sold over 1891 units during the first month of this year, with 30 percent market share in the SUV class. Meanwhile, in the MPV class, the Honda Freed posted sales of 922 units with a 7 percent market share in the MPV class. While the premium MPV All New Honda Odyssey successfully sold two units in January.
In the city car segment, Honda Brio sold 444 units in January and reached a market share of 21 percent. In 2012 then, Brio closed the year with a market leader in the city car class with 8002 unit sales and market share by 19 percent.
