Is Honda is testing the new Civic Type-R? The question arose after a prototype car mysteriously caught on camera being tested in Nurburgring, Germany some time ago.
This car does look visibly different. Large wing appears on the back of this car that makes it seem like the current Civic.
Protoytype car caught on camera is also equipped with front air intake that has been modified with a bodykit that is also new, although it seems to be no the legs in the vehicle such as wheels, tires, brakes or suspension.
It may be that this is the first test the latest Civic Type-R is rumored to have been supported by the runway which is also a new kitchen.
The engine as detikOto quotes from Auto Express reportedly equipped with i-VTEC engine that has been formulated so that even high-powered 2.0-liter capacity is still like the Civic Type-R version of the old. Engine power is predicted to produce about 210 bhp.
