Honda Sport Market 2013, New Motor Honda 2013

It has been several times alluded to in previous posts, the only market that has not won motorcycle Honda is class sport. To this day, sport type motorcycle Honda Yamaha still lost.

To displace the dominance of manufacturers tuning fork logo, PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) seems to want to look all out. New models launched accidentally, either head to head or open up new market segments in order of quantity, sales could be far superior.

With the launch of Honda CB 150R yesterday (12/12), means that Honda has given the competitors head to head line up on all Yamaha models. Starting from Honda Tiger head to head with Yamaha Scorpio, Honda New MegaPro with Yamaha Byson and the last Honda CB 150R with motor sport's best-selling New V-Ixion Lightening.

But more surprising is, Honda has also prepared a new bike is said to be a sport bike at an affordable price. The aim is to open up new markets in the low entry.

"In 2013 we were trying to grab market share with a sport bike Streetfire CB150R and motor sport that will be launched in January 2013," said Yusuke Hori, President Director of PT AHM on the sidelines of a speech at the launch of CB 150R Sentul Circuit, Bogor.

News from some other sources also corroborate that this new motor sport will be priced under New MegaPro and will not turn off existing sports models like the Honda CS-1.

Honda parties themselves acknowledge that motor sport is a dream of most motorcycle users. But not everyone can have it because the price is expensive or because it needs a motorcycle that can be used by other family members.

With a new, more affordable models, the expectations of consumers with limited capabilities can still have a sport type motorcycle while contributing to increased sales of Honda sport bike in quantity.

So curious what it looks like!
