Inspiration Modified Honda CB500

Honda CB500 Program is owned by a man from Kentucky, United States, named Mike McFadden. Interestingly, he built (modify) this bike alone in a small garage.

The story began when the motor modification Mike accidentally saw a motorcycle-style "Brat Style" for the first time.

"The look and the cost of building a cheap bike it really blew me away," said Mike.

After spending a few nights skating on various websites, Mike finally decided to try to buy a classic 1972 Honda CB500 motorcycle parked in the kitchen an acquaintance. Surprisingly, Mike was willing to bring the motor that has not been turned on by their owners since 1994. Lucky he got a Honda with a fairly cheap price, ie U.S. $ 200 (Rp 1.7 million).

"I want this bike will look like the motors used by Brando or James Dean in the movies," said Mike.

The first thing he did was to clean the frame of the bike and renovate the back of the motor. Later, Mike also alter the CB500 motorcycle tank with Honda CB750 motorcycle tank and add a clip-on bar on the motor. Then Mike also modify the motor with the exhaust pipe wrapped with a bandage and retro-style tires, Avon.

"Although it is quite an expensive proposition in this section, but this is what I want," said Mike, as quoted by bikeexif.com page.

Using a drill press, Mike then began to drill some motor parts for motor load lightened. She cleaned the motor and rebuild the carburetor and ignition coil and Dyna pair. And you can see now, the motorcycle now appear more manly with a bandage black paint and gold metallic.

How, do you have the same motor? Perhaps Mike's design can be your inspiration to build a classic Honda became the center of attention on the streets.
