PT. Honda Prospect Motor (HPM) in collaboration with the SMK (Vocational High School) 8 London today has just inaugurated the Basic Education Program for Honda Technician.
Marking this cooperation program, PT HPM also gave donations as 1 unit engine simulator, common tools, special tools and measuring tools, training materials, and vehicle system components worth 250 million dollars, which is used as an educational support materials.
Honda Technician Basic Education are given basic education program in Bandung SMKN 8, which aims to prepare qualified candidates that will be absorbed by the automotive industry, especially as a technician at Honda dealers network. The program includes training for teachers, work practices at the Honda dealer, and education for two months at the school.
"Human Resources is one of the most important factors required in the automotive industry is currently growing rapidly in Indonesia," said Tomoki Uchida, President Director of PT Honda Prospect Motor.
"Training and education programs for prospective basis Honda engineers a bridge to prepare candidates berkuatlitas Honda technicians, ready to work after they complete their education programs in schools," he continued.
Previously, PT Honda Prospect Motor recorded as many as 35 have also given donations to schools and educational institutions ranging from 2000 to 2007.
Currently, the factory of PT Honda Prospect Motor is located in the Industrial Area Karachi Mitra, West Java, has been producing products such as the Honda Jazz, Honda CR-V, and Honda Freed. In this PT Honda Prospect Motor has also started the construction of a second plant will increase production capacity to reach 200,000 units per year.
