Astra Honda Motor Find Best Candidates Rider
PT. Astra Honda Motor (AHM) resumed his future driver development program to recruit young drivers seeds through the Honda Racing School (HRS) phase II this year.
Implementation of the second phase of this year's HRS centered at the Speed Circuit City Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK), Bali on 26 to 29 November 2012. The first phase was held at the Sentul International Karting Circuit (SIKC) in July.
HRS is the AHM program to prepare future racers through a hierarchical and structured coaching. The program is now entering its third year since the first execution carried out in 2010.
General Manager of Marketing Planning and Analysis Division AHM, Augustine Indraputra, said, coaching the prospective rider is part of the company's commitment to support the development of racing in the country.
HRS Program Phase II this year netted 10 students selected under the age of 15 years from various regions in Indonesia, from Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Java, and Bali.
They are extracted from a variety of observations made on the AHM team racing championship regional and national championships and local racing.
Through this HRS, AHM nurture young drivers age. After studying and practicing in the HRS, they will get a chance to appear in the final event one makeup race, Honda Racing Championship.
They even got the opportunity to compete in a national championship event Motorprix and Indoprix, if any team is interested and recruit Honda.
"If his performance in the team's Honda continues to increase, we will push to be able to compete to international racing," said Indraputra.
Manager Safety Riding and Motor Sports Department AHM, Anggono Iriawan, said it has prepared a special curriculum to hone and improve students' abilities and racing skills HRS.
"In principle, their skills will be honed. Skill cornering, braking, racing line, overtaking, and other things that will be useful to teach us," he said.
