Entering March 2012, Honda began to increase production of its flagship three models the Honda Jazz, Honda CR-V and Honda Freed after component supply disruptions caused by flooding in Thailand. With the increased production of the three models, it is expected in the near future Honda models has been able to re available at Honda dealers throughout Indonesia.

Jonfis Fandy, Marketing & aftersales Service Director of PT Honda Prospect Motor explained that until February 2012, the effect of Thailand floods still felt by Honda, so Honda has not been able to meet consumer demand remains high for its products. "With production levels begin to experience recovery and availability of Honda products at dealer which has gradually increased, we expect Honda sales in March also increased about two times higher than in February," said Jonfis.

"We will accelerate the supply of Honda cars to our dealers throughout Indonesia so as to meet the demand of consumers who have been ordered and waited for Honda products," he added.

In terms of sales, up to February 2012 sales of the Honda was not affected by the production of a normal, though it started to increase. In February alone recorded total sales of 1904 units, an increase of 23% compared to the previous month which sold 1553 units. Honda Freed is the proponent of the biggest selling among other Honda products with sales of as many as 1438 units, MPV market share of 13%.

However, other products can not be supplied optimally month. Honda Jazz sold more than 404 units, the Honda CR-V sold 2 units, while the sedan products do not record sales figures in the month of February 2012.
