Honda manufacturer seems committed to being a motorcycle brand 'green' in Indonesia. Search 'environmental ambassadors' were they doing.
To obtain the environmental ambassador, PT. Astra Honda Motor (AHM) again held AHM Best Student (AHMBS) which is the tenth time they are doing to prepare for future environmental ambassadors in line.
The event according to the Head of Corporate Communication AHM Kristanto said that it was in line with the company's commitment to produce environmentally friendly products with a pin injection technology.
AHMBS activity this time entering the tenth year since the organization was first held in 2003. Working closely with the main dealer network throughout Indonesia, the company's CSR activities on the theme "One Heart Hijaukan Affairs," which will run from 2 to 6 July 2012.
As one form of corporate social responsibility, this activity is done by beginning the process of selection of students performing in each regional area main dealer.
In this year, AHMBS managed to capture 70 high school student achievement, but only 65 students can come to Jakarta.
They were selected after beating other students excel in every region around the dealership. Prior to the selection at the level provinisi, students must meet several requirements such as entering the Top 5 in school, extracurricular skills, and create a paper-themed environment.
The presence of 65 outstanding students who come from different parts of the country whenever they believe can help socialize the Honda campaign matter of concern to their environment.
"Confirmation of the initial 70, but that can come only 65. And interestingly, 44 people were women. This is an appreciation for the women.
"Participants in the youngest born in 1996, so there's still 15 years old," he added.
